A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (52%), Merlot (42%) and Petit Verdot (6%), the Chateau Lanessan 2018 is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months (1/3 of new barrels, 1/3 of barrels of one previous wine and 1/3 of barrels of two previous wines). Chateau Lanessan reveals a dark plum-colored dress, shimmering with violet reflections. The intensely aromatic nose opens with notes of candied black fruits, cherry and kirsch, with beautiful floral notes evoking rose. Fresh woody and roasted notes then appear when the wine is swirled, along with spicy notes. Beautiful mineral notes appear next. The very fresh and harmonious finish stretches on for a long time at the end. Offering a superb expression of the great terroirs of Haut-Medoc, the Chateau Lanessan is destined for a remarkable evolution through age. 13.0% ABV
