A deep, dark, glass-staining purple. The nose boasts a ton of blue and black fruit, with hints of violets and lavender. Dark fruit takes center stage on the palate, showing beautifully richness but also delicacy. The wine is not heavy in any way, it has no edges, and the blackberry fruit is accompanied by fresh leather and bay with toasted spices. So powerful yet so polished and smooth, it will be hard not to drink this now, but it will surely evolve beautifully over the next several years. 14.6% ABV
