In a sense, our winemaker is a lot like a painter. He starts with an idea. Then, with our home winery in the heart of Sonoma’s Russian River Valley as his studio, he carefully assembles his “palette” from the best vineyards California has to offer, optimizing the depth and nuance of each using a mix of traditional and modern techniques. Next he blends, drawing on the aromas, flavor and structure of each lot to capture the ideal in his mind’s eye. It’s how we make Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc that consistently draw awards! 13.9% ABV
