Crafted at La Alteña, the historic distillery founded in 1937, this tequila is made from 100% blue weber agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco and aged for 8 months in used bourbon barrels. The extra time in barrel brings a delicate, layered profile, with soft caramel on the palate alongside gentle notes of oak and a hint of smoke. The finish is light and smooth, with subtle oak that lingers just enough to invite another sip. 40.0% ABV
