A Chardonnay focused on freshness and precision. Blended from premier vineyard sites across the Sonoma Coast, the heritage clone Chardonnay shows a balance of tension and richness right off the vine. Its élevage inverts the order of the basic bottling, with fermentation as well as the first year of aging taking place in barrels, and another half year on the lees in stainless steel barrels. Toned in ethereal aromatics and innate acidity, it clearly expresses purity of fruit and nuance of site. 13.1% ABV
