An inaugural vintage of the winery’s first single vineyard, aged 27 months in 70% new French oak. The vineyard’s soils of well-drained, gravelly loam allow the roots to dive deep, exhibited in the wine’s structured tannins. Notes of crushed Morello cherries, red beets, and dark chocolate are luscious and saturate the palate. The silky, creamy mouthfeel unleashes a textural hedonism, reined in by a spark of black pepper, anise, and cedar. Aging potential is destined for greatness. 14.8% ABV
