Lustau Tinto Vermouth
Lustau produces a sweet red vermouth in Jerez, Spain, crafted from a blend of 10-year-old Amontillado and Pedro Ximénez sherries. The primary botanicals include sage, gentian, coriander, wormwood, and orange peel. It is fortified with a neutral spirit distilled from 100% Airen grapes and contains 155 grams of sugar per liter. This vermouth features sweet aromas of ripe fruit mingling with hints of citrus and herbaceous notes over a smoked wood base. The palate is velvety and balanced, finishing with a bitter, delicate, and distinctive nutty aftertaste. With an ABV of 15%, Lustau Vermut Rojo blends two wines aged individually for 10 years in the traditional Jerez “Solera y Criaderas” system: a dry and nutty Amontillado and a sweet, velvety Pedro Ximénez. 15.0% ABV
