Fruit for this wine comes from six vineyard blocks. Clones are Pommard, Mount Eden, and three Dijon clones (113, 115 and 777). Aromas on the nose are elegant and complex, evoking notes of dark cherry, bramble berry, Pacific wild forest, purple violet, leather, cigar box, cedar, rose and spice. A bold, spicy front palate shows more dark fruit flavors – blackberry coulis, black cherry, red plum, blueberry – with a hint of toasty sweet oak. Bright fruit and bright acidity evolve into a beautifully complex blend. 13.0% ABV
