Since 1978, Pinot Gris has been rooted in place at Cooper Mountain. Cooper Mountain's flagship Pinot Gris is not too sweet and not too dry - considered the Goldilocks of Cooper Mountain's Pinot Gris efforts. On the nose, this Pinot Gris has a pronounced aroma of mixed tropical and citrus fruits such as pineapple, mango, lemon, and grapefruit. There are also cooler pear notes that provide a subtle sweetness to the wine. There are mineral notes that give the wine a sense of depth and complexity. On the palate, this Pinot Gris has a crisp and refreshing mouthfeel with flavors of mixed tropical and citrus fruits such as passionfruit, lime, and orange. The cooler pear notes provide a subtle sweetness that balances the wine's acidity, while the mineral notes provide a sense of depth and complexity to the overall flavor profile.
