Spotlight: The Education Foundation of Alachua County
We are proud to shine a light on The Education Foundation of Alachua County (EFAC), one of our charity partners dedicated to supporting teachers and students so they all can thrive. Through their Catalyst for Change program, the foundation invests directly in the classroom, funding grants that impact over 10,000 students and 500 teachers annually. From providing professional development through their ElevatEd conference to celebrating excellence through the Teacher of the Year program, EFAC works tirelessly to remove barriers and provide educators with the tools they need to succeed. Their commitment extends to students as well, awarding over $185,000 in scholarships each year and maintaining a 95% graduation rate through the Take Stock in Children mentorship program.
