Because blue corn single barrels are rare, Beyke’s Blue defies easy comparison. It isn't a soft, buttery dessert bottle, nor is it a heavy, aggressive oak bomb. Tasting Notes: On the nose, this pour reveals a deep, dark, and brooding character, unfolding into a vibrant orchard of crisp apple, juicy peach and a warm, nostalgic hint of simmered fruit. The palate beautifully mirrors this intriguing start, hitting first with those rich, coating fruit notes before resolving into classic, structural flavors of toasted oak, aged leather and warm baking spices. The finish is long and unhurried, leaving a bright, surprising burst of citrus that peeks through the oak and spice for a clean, memorable lift on the very end of the sip.
